AP Statistics

Sundays 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM starting September 8, 2024

Statistics (or stats) is a subject prevalent across all domains of life. This course covers all nine units of AP Stats, from Exploring One-Variable Data to Inference for Quantitative Data: Slopes, and provides each student with a foundation that will augment their ability to succeed on the AP exam. Students will have the opportunity to learn through hands-on projects, discovering the fundamental principles in each unit and gaining an intuition for how to approach different stats problems.

At the AP level, this course is an essential for students wishing to enter any math or science field, such as physical sciences or computer science, and it provides an invaluable supplement to the education of any child no matter their career. Stats provides a doorway to understanding the most in-demand research and industry fields of today’s and tomorrow’s world, including artificial intelligence.

Classes will take place every Sunday through the school year up until the AP exam in May. If you are interested in the course curriculum, more information can be found on CollegeBoard (AP).
