About Course

Build Deep Understanding & Confidence in Calculus

Calculus brings together the algebraic, graphical, numerical, and conceptual thinking students have developed throughout high school mathematics. Students learn to understand how quantities change, how functions behave, and how derivatives and integrals describe mathematical relationships.

The focus is not simply on memorizing procedures and formulas. Students learn to connect different representations, justify their reasoning, analyze unfamiliar problems, and apply calculus concepts to real-world situations.

The course works alongside the student’s school curriculum, reinforcing current topics while providing additional instruction and practice with challenging concepts, applications, assignments, quizzes, and tests.

Because success in Calculus depends on a strong mathematical foundation, emphasis is also placed on identifying and strengthening gaps in algebra, functions, trigonometry, and mathematical reasoning as they arise.

The goal is to help students succeed in their current Calculus course, develop strong conceptual understanding, and prepare confidently for the AP Calculus AB or BC exam.
