About the Course

Develop a Deeper Understanding of Chemistry

AP Chemistry helps students build a strong understanding of essential chemical concepts while developing the analytical, mathematical, experimental, and problem-solving skills needed for success in the course and on the AP exam.

Students explore chemistry from a college-level perspective, studying topics ranging from atomic structure and molecular interactions to chemical reactions, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry.

The focus is not simply on memorizing formulas and procedures. Students learn to connect microscopic particle behavior with observable chemical properties, analyze data, represent chemical phenomena, and support scientific conclusions with evidence.

The course works alongside the student’s school curriculum, providing additional instruction and targeted practice with challenging concepts, assignments, laboratories, quizzes, tests, and AP-style questions throughout the school year.

The goal is to help students succeed in AP Chemistry, strengthen their scientific reasoning and quantitative skills, and prepare confidently for the AP Chemistry exam.
