Deepen Algebraic Understanding & Prepare for Advanced Mathematics

Algebra II builds on the foundation developed in Algebra I and moves students toward more advanced mathematical thinking. Students work with increasingly complex equations, functions, graphs, systems, polynomials, rational and radical expressions, exponential and logarithmic relationships, and other higher-level algebraic concepts.

The focus is not simply on learning procedures. Students develop a deeper understanding of how algebraic concepts are connected, strengthen their ability to analyze unfamiliar problems, and learn to select effective strategies rather than relying only on memorized steps.

The course works alongside the student’s school curriculum, providing additional instruction, practice, and support with challenging concepts, assignments, quizzes, and tests.

A strong understanding of Algebra II provides an important foundation for Pre-Calculus, Calculus, standardized testing, college-level mathematics, and future STEM coursework.

Course Options

Rising Future offers two Algebra II levels so students can select the class that best matches their current school course.

Regular Algebra II

Designed for students taking a standard-level Algebra II course.

The class focuses on:

• Strong conceptual understanding
• Algebraic reasoning and problem-solving
• Equations, inequalities, and functions
• Polynomials and rational expressions
• Exponential and logarithmic relationships
• Reinforcement of the school curriculum
• Additional practice with challenging concepts
• Quiz and test preparation

Class Schedule: Wednesday, 5:30 PM–7:00 PM
Format: In-Person Small Group
Tuition: $240/month

Honors Algebra II

Designed for students enrolled in an Honors Algebra II course. Instruction supports the faster pace and greater depth of an honors-level school curriculum.

The class places increased emphasis on:

• Advanced algebraic reasoning
• Multi-step and challenging problems
• Complex functions and transformations
• Applying concepts in unfamiliar situations
• Deeper connections between algebraic concepts
• Preparation for Pre-Calculus and advanced mathematics
• School quiz and test preparation

Class Schedule: Monday, 5:30 PM–7:00 PM
Format: In-Person Small Group
Tuition: $240/month

One-on-one Algebra II instruction is also available upon request.
